Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Lafayette, Indiana seeks Security Officers/Guards for full- and part-time roles, focusing on safety and customer service at client sites.

Successful candidates will pass a drug screen and background check and must meet state licensing requirements. No experience is required; training will be provided to new hires.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Patrol premises, maintain order, enforce regulations, and provide customer service and information to employees and customers.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods, including stairs and uneven terrain.
• Lifting and/or moving objects up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Position Summary

Security Officer/Guard. Security positions are full and part time. Must have excellent customer service skills. Security positions require passing a drug screen and background check. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Patrol premises, including a variety of locations; maintain order while enforcing regulations and directives; provide customer service and information to employees and customers.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
• Lifting and/or moving objects up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications
