Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer / Guard to help maintain a safe, secure environment at client sites. The role involves patrolling premises, enforcing regulations, and assisting employees and customers with information and directions.

No experience is required; training is provided to begin a career in the security industry. A drug screen and background check are part of the requirements, and state licensing must be met where applicable.

Qualifications

• Background in retail/food service/hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to meet licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Wage: $18.00-20.00 per hour

Security Officer / Guard

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

• Security positions are full and part time.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Security positions require passing a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Security Officers/Guard observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

No experience necessary! If you have a background in retail, food service, or hospitality industry you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.
