Security Officer - Part Time position at Securitas, Inc. in Keokuk, IA. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring access, patrolling varied locations, and enforcing client site rules for personnel and visitors.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with a HS diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. CPR/First Aid training is required, and pre-employment screening will be conducted.

• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols of the property.
• Carry out tasks similar to site requirements.

Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Keokuk, IA

Wage: $15.00/HR

Available Schedules:

• 3rd Shift: Fri & Sat: 11PM - 7AM
• 1st Shift: Sat & Sun: 7AM - 3PM

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• CPR and First Aid training required.
