Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a part-time Security Officer for Walcott, IA. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling multiple client sites.

The position offers weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 6 AM–2 PM) with a wage of $19.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong customer service, independence, and vigilance.

Responsibilities

Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Walcott, IA

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedule: Sat & Sun: 6AM - 2PM (16 Hours Per Week)

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct foot patrols of the property.
• Fire watch.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements
