Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV seeks a full-time Security Officer to join our Security Department and help protect patients, visitors and employees on campus.

Candidates with security, law enforcement or military background are preferred. Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills are required; basic computer skills and First Aid knowledge are a plus. A valid Operators License and clean driving record are required by the hospital's insurance carrier.

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-timeSecurity Officer to work with our Security Department.

At Cabell Huntington Hospital, the philosophy and intent of Security is to protect and prevent illegal or unauthorized activity in the Hospital or on its campus. In accomplishing that cause, we serve, help and protect our patients, visitors, and employees in a variety of different manners.

Past experience in security, law enforcement or military is preferred. Basic computer skills (including typing, keyboarding and/or using a mouse) are helpful. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Candidates must have good writing and communication skills. Basic First Aid knowledge is preferred.
