Job summary

Anaheim Global Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer for an evening, full-time shift. You will safeguard patients, staff and visitors, and protect hospital assets while performing routine campus inspections.

The role requires an HS diploma, 1–2 years in a hospital or security environment, ability to report incidents, and readiness to obtain required California security credentials and certifications. Medical benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a hospital setting or law enforcement/security background.
• Ability to use a computer and complete incident report forms.
• Working knowledge of Orange County Radio Codes and California Penal Codes.
• Possess a State Of California Guard Card.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to perform duties including running, stairs, standing/sitting for long periods, weather exposure, and dealing with combative individuals.
• Must complete background/physical examinations.
• No criminal record other than minor motor vehicle violations.
• Able to obtain BLS and MAB certifications within 90 days of hire.

Full-Time SEC OFFICER Santa Ana, CA, US

Salary Range: $23.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Provides security and safety for patients, staff, and visitors. Protects hospital and corporate assets, buildings and property. Under direct supervision of Public Safety supervisor or other designated Lead officer to perform routine inspections of campus property to assure compliance with the company's safety and security regulations.

Requirements :

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in a hospital setting or Law Enforcement/ Security background
• Ability to use a computer, complete incident report forms and basic communications in reporting
• Working knowledge of Orange County Radio Codes, Orange County Phonetic alphabet, California Penal Codes. In addition, universal Medical Emergency Codes.
• Possess a State Of California Guard Card
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays as scheduled
• Able to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including running, climbing stairs, frequent standing and or sitting for long periods of time, exposure to inclement weather conditions for prolonged periods of time, and combative persons
• Must successfully complete back round/ physical examinations
• No criminal record other than minor motor vehicle violations
• Able to obtain B.L.S. Certification within (90) days if hire
• Able to obtain MAB certification within (90) days of hire
