Qualifications

• Active Maryland security guard certification (guard card).
• Reliable transportation to the work location.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal communication and customer service.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to stay composed and make sound decisions in unexpected situations.
• Indoor and outdoor work environments.
• Previous security experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a consistent presence throughout assigned areas and stay attentive to activity around the property.
• Monitor entrances, gates, loading areas, and other controlled-access locations.
• Observe camera feeds, alarm notifications, and access control systems for unusual activity.
• Complete scheduled patrols of buildings, parking areas, storage spaces, and property boundaries.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior, unsafe conditions, security concerns, and rule violations.
• Respond to alarms and unexpected incidents according to emergency procedures and post orders.
• Request assistance from police, fire, or medical responders when needed.
• Document daily observations, shift activities, and incidents in clear, accurate reports.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Follow assigned instructions, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Communicate concerns and shift updates to supervisors.
