Job summary

Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a Multi-Site Security Officer to provide coverage at assigned locations throughout Baltimore. The role involves patrolling interior and exterior areas, monitoring surveillance, and reporting incidents to supervisors in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will have a Maryland security guard certification (or the ability to obtain one), a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland security guard certification, or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Reliable personal transportation to travel between assigned locations.
• Availability to work assigned shifts and provide coverage as needs arise.
• Strong awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay composed, use good judgment, and respond professionally under pressure.
• Clear communication and accurate report-writing skills.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
• Previous security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at assigned locations for call-outs, absences, vacations, and open shifts.
• Complete routine interior and exterior patrols, checking assigned areas and access points.
• Observe surroundings for suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, or policy violations.
• Monitor available surveillance equipment and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respond promptly to incidents and follow established emergency procedures.
• Help maintain a safe, secure environment through a visible presence and consistent enforcement of site rules.
• Prepare accurate, factual digital activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate important updates to supervisors and designated property representatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
