Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit is seeking a security professional to protect guests, team members, and property. You will monitor facilities, respond to incidents, and assist in emergencies using two-way radios and coordinating with local authorities.

The role requires writing reports, managing access, directing traffic during emergencies, and providing CPR/ Heimlich as needed in a fast-paced casino environment focused on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and protection for team members, guests, and property.
• Handle monetary transactions between games and Main Cage.
• Handle unruly guests and criminals in combative situations.
• Write required reports regarding all incidents that occur.
• Operate the Dispatch Center as required.
• Communicate via two-way radio and telephone.
• Direct foot and vehicular traffic during emergencies.
• Perform CPR and Heimlich Maneuver when needed.
• Assist paramedics as needed.
• Respond to alarms and communicate with Detroit Police.
• Provide security and protection for garage and our employee lot.
