Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is actively seeking a full-time Security Officer to patrol multiple Denver Metro area sites, manage access control, and maintain a safe environment. Starting wage is $20.47/hour, with raises after 6 months ($23.18) and after 1 year ($23.67).

The role emphasizes conflict resolution, vigilant observation, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service to client employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Above average computer/technology skills needed.

Responsibilities

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Various locations within the Denver Metro Area

Starting Wage: $20.47/HR

After 6 Months: $23.18/HR

After 1 Year: $23.67/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
