Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Denver and Englewood, CO is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for our clients by monitoring premises, controlling access and patrolling a variety of locations.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a HS diploma or GED, show excellent customer service and leadership, and can remain calm under pressure while responding to emergencies and completing detailed reports.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and stay vigilant.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons.
• Respond to emergency situations with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergencies and observed issues.

Wage Range: $22.00-$25.70/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect
