Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer in Deer Park, TX. You will protect client facilities across Chemical/Petrochemical sectors, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, TWIC, and passing a background check. A $1,000 hiring bonus is offered, with full-time day shifts at $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, maintaining access records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, notifying site contacts and responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations and incidents accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly according to site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
