Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Virginia is seeking a Security Officer responsible for protecting assets and ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members. This role includes patrolling, responding to incidents, and enforcing policies with professionalism and service.

You will conduct safety checks, provide first aid, assist law enforcement, document incidents, and maintain reports. Requires 21+, high school diploma, 2 years guest-contact experience, and ability to obtain Virginia Gaming

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in a role with direct guest contact required.
• Preferred: two years of police, military, or casino security experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic computer programs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Virginia Gaming License.
• Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Must complete eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training.
• Ability to prepare effective written reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 115°F.
• Ability to physically restrain individuals when necessary.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis or stressful situations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, and maneuver quickly on various surfaces.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to tolerate secondhand smoke

Job Summary
