Marksman Security LLC is seeking a dependable Patrol Officer for a Front Desk/Guardhouse role in Commerce, GA. The position offers $17.50 per hour for full-time work with an afternoon/evening shift. You will protect client sites, handle access control, and report incidents with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have customer service and security experience, a GA security license, and the ability to work under pressure. Benefits include medical/dental insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience and one year of verifiable security experience.
• GA Security License required.
• Valid GA Driver's License and high school diploma or equivalent.

MARKSMAN SECURITY LLC Is Hiring Immediately Full Time Front Desk / Guardhouse / Patrol $17.50 Per Hour | Full Time | Commerce, GA Shift: Afternoon/Evening

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Patrol Officer to protect one of our newest client sites. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
• Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
• Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance
• Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience

Requirements

• Valid GA Security License
• Valid GA Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
• Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
• Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
