Job summary

Marksman Security LLC in Norcross, GA is hiring immediately for a Full Time Patrol Officer earning $18.00 per hour. You will deter crime, respond to alarms, perform patrols, and document incidents while maintaining a professional appearance and strong customer service.

Requirements include a valid GA Security License, a GA Driver's License, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience.
• One year of security experience.
• Law enforcement experience preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Military experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct.
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police and local emergency responders.

• Operate access control systems and security software; use email for communications.

Monday – Friday: 1:00pm–9:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
• Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
• Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance
• Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high‑pressure environment
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience
• One year of security experience
• Law enforcement experience
• Corrections experience
• Military experience

Requirements

• Valid GA Security License
• Valid GA Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
• Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
• Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
