Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a dependable Patrol Officer for a part‑time overnight shift in the Metro Atlanta area. The role focuses on deterring crime, reporting incidents, and maintaining safe access control across client sites.

A strong emphasis on customer service and professionalism is required. The candidate should have two years of customer service experience and at least one year of security backgrounds such as law enforcement or corrections.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience.
• One year of security experience.
• Law enforcement experience preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Military experience preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Respond to alarms and emergencies including fires or distress
• Make periodic patrols to check for hazards and security breaches
• Prepare clear, concise incident reports
• Operate access control systems and security software
• Demonstrate strong customer service and professional demeanor
• Manage multiple tasks in a high‑pressure environment
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Patrol Officer to protect one of our newest client sites. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
• Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
• Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance
• Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience
• One year of security experience
• Law enforcement experience
• Corrections experience
• Military experience

Requirements

• Valid GA Security License
• Valid GA Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
• Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
• Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience
