Job summary

Titan Security Group is hiring Security Officers to join our team protecting client sites across the region. You will patrol outdoor shopping center properties and provide excellent customer service while enforcing access control and reporting incidents.

This role requires physical fitness, the ability to walk extensive patrols, and a high school diploma or GED. We offer paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience as door staff, receptionist, or in service roles.
• Comfortable around pets.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain Illinois PERC and training.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read/write/speak/understand English.
• Able to meet physical duties, including lifting 50+ lbs and patrols.
• Extensive foot patrols two times per shift on weekends, and three times per shift on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor client sites via vehicle and foot patrols.
• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Maintain clear admin logs at front desk.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor cameras and guard against theft.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; document data for Titan Security.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Patrol/ Rover Position - Monitor site by continuous vehicle and foot patrol of client outdoor shopping center property.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
• Must be comfortable with walking, and doing extensive foot patrols two times per shift on weekends, and three times per shift on weekdays.

Preferred Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

• Positions starting at $19.00 / Sat & Sun: 1000-2000, Mon & Tue: 1000-1800, Wed: 1600-0000
