Job summary

Titan Security Group in Illinois is seeking Security Officers to support front-desk and access-control operations at client properties. You will greet visitors, log activities, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe, compliant environment.

We seek individuals 21+ with security or hospitality experience, able to lift 50 lbs, read/write English, and capable of obtaining PERC. Evening, weekend shifts and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant roles.
• Comfortable around animals.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered on duty and assist with directions and information.
• Maintain clear logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies at the property and record data for Titan Security management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
