Maverick-Colorado-LLC is seeking a Security Officer to maintain safety, protect assets, and ensure compliant procedures across the casino property in Colorado. The role requires vigilance, clear reporting, and effective communication with staff and guests.

Eligible applicants should be 21+ and able to obtain a Colorado State Gaming License. The position offers health benefits, paid time off, and a sign-on bonus with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years security experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain Colorado Gaming License.
• Knowledge of Colorado gambling regulations and rules.
• Ability to read and comprehend documentation and communicate effectively with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage and maintain law and order, personnel, and resources.
• Ensure reports and correspondences are completed timely.
• Patrol company property and protect assets.
• Document and write incident reports clearly.
• Respond to emergencies using proper safety procedures.
• Escort employees for daily cash drops and verify IDs.
• Communicate events to surveillance and MOD on casino property.

Team member must be in good standing to qualify for Bonus Pay out (no documented performance or attendance notes in their employee file)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Efficiently manage and maintain law and order, personnel, and resources.
• Ensure all reports and correspondences are properly completed in a timely manner throughout the department.
• Patrol company property and protect assets.
• Complete appropriate fills and runs using the proper procedures, ensuring that all necessary documents are signed.
• Document and effectively write reports on all incidents.
• Respond to and handle emergencies using the proper method while simultaneously using the correct safety procedures.
• Escort employees to appropriate bank for daily drops.
• Ensure all guests are 21 years of age, ability to read and understand all forms of ID’s.
• Communicate with surveillance and M.O.D all details of events occurring on the casino property.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Military/law enforcement background experience preferred.
• 2-3 years security experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado State Gaming License.
• Ability to read and comprehend all documentation.
• Ability to always communicate effectively, with all levels of employees and guests.
• Ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Working knowledge of cash handling and knowledge of State of Colorado Gambling regulations and rules.

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00/hr
