Boston Medical Center South is seeking a per diem Security Officer to safeguard staff, visitors and patients across hospital facilities. Under the Manager of Security, you will deter crime, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment in line with hospital procedures.
You will escort people, log incidents, support fire control, and assist with environment of care standards while upholding professionalism and timely reporting.

Position: Security Officer Department: Public Safety Schedule: Per Diem, As Needed, Non-Benefit Eligible Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manager of Security, provides security and safety of all staff, visitors and patients. Handles all traffic related matters. Functions as a resource regarding hospital information for patients and visitors. Maintains a safe environment for all visitors, patients, and employees at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Must maintain an active knowledge of security emergency procedures and environment of care standards. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security.
