Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for the casino, all employees, guests, and company assets.
• Guard all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor and transport of fills and credits.
• Adhere to health, fire, and safety regulations; report hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Support Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and promote outstanding guest service.
• Assist with disturbances and intoxicated guests as needed.
• Promote safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Complete duties to comply with gaming-related requirements, including card/dice operations and transport of locked carriers.
• Patrol buildings and grounds or stand watch at assigned posts to ensure guest safety.
• Greet guests and staff in a positive, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provides protection for the casino, all employees, guests, and company assets.
• Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of fills and credits.
• Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations; identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the appropriate personnel.
• Supports and maintains the Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and promotes outstanding guest service.
• Assist with disturbances and intoxicated guests as needed.
• Always promote safety and confidentiality.
• Perform and complete all duties necessary to comply with Margaritaville’s mandated requirements, which include but are not limited to, gaming‑related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, re‑issuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
• Through alertness, diligence, specified procedures, and proactive attention to potential danger and security risks, the Security Officer shall protect our guests, our property, and our staff from harm or loss.
• Patrol, periodically, buildings and grounds of the facility, as directed; or stand watch, as directed, at an assigned Security post, in order to oversee the comfort, safety, and security of our guests.
• Greet all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED; or six months to one year of work experience in customer service; previous security and corrections experience a plus.
• Must be able to Obtain a LA Gaming License and L.A.C.T.
• Ability to Stand, bend, lift, walk, and stop throughout duration of shift.
• Excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to tolerate second‑hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
