The Outlets at Barstow is seeking a full-time Security Officer to patrol the grounds and buildings, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction with a professional, observant approach.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, maintaining security equipment, and supporting the Security Director in executing the center's security plan. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a Guard Card/Driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Must maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Protect the property both on foot and by vehicle, being always visible and observant.
• Maintain the security cellular phone and professionally respond to all calls for service within the Center.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies, and procedures.
• Document security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Assist the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the center's Security work plan; assigned work activities, projects, and programs.
• Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
• Assist the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel.
• Comply with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with store managers and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the public.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

The Outlets at Barstow is seeking to hire a Full-Time security officer. The Security Officer position is responsible for patrolling the grounds and buildings of the Outlets at Barstow. This position requires the employee to operate a Company vehicle as an essential job function.
