Securitas, Inc. in Ashland, WI is seeking a Security Officer for Emergency Response. This full-time role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe, secure environment.

No prior experience required. Training provided. You will join a team that protects people and property, with a rotating 4 on/4 off schedule and a 6pm–6am shift. Competitive benefits and paid weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must work independently and confront suspicious individuals.
• Strong de-escalation and communication skills.
• Must remain calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Must participate in pre-employment screening.

• Maintain a secure environment protecting employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises and entry points.

Wage: $30.00/HR

Schedule: 4 days on/4 days off rotating schedule, 6pm-6am

• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
