Securitas US Business Unit in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for our clients. The role focuses on access control, patrols, and ensuring that post orders are followed while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic tech ability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. This is a full-time position with a daytime and evening shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety by monitoring premises and enforcing regulations.
• Control access and conduct patrols of client sites.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and visitors.
• Identify safety hazards and report issues.
• Complete post orders and assigned rounds.
• Utilize security technology during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Albuquerque, NM

Wage:$18.65/HR

Schedule: Sat - Mon: 0700 - 1500 OR1500 - 2300

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
