Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, WA seeks a Network & Security Analyst I to protect our information systems and hospital infrastructure. You will support cybersecurity operations, monitor threats, and coordinate with IT leadership, a future SOC, and vendors to safeguard patient data.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field and 1–3 years of IT/cybersecurity experience, plus foundational networking knowledge and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technology discipline.
• 1–3 years of progressively responsible experience in IT, cybersecurity, network administration, systems administration, or related environment.
• Foundational knowledge of networking, operating systems, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise technology.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential, sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal technical resource for cybersecurity operations and coordinate with the future Security Operations Center, security vendors, and other technology partners.
• Review, investigate, document, respond to, and escalate cybersecurity alerts and events using available tools and evidence.
• Participate in cybersecurity incident response, including investigation, containment, remediation, recovery, and post-incident activities.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, analysis, prioritization, remediation tracking, and validation.
• Assist with administration and troubleshooting of security technologies and network infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation including procedures, diagrams, configurations, and inventories.
