Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year general work experience; related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to express thoughts clearly in writing and verbally.
• Flexibility to perform a wide range of duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintains alertness to control and secure the facility and residents.
• Prepares shift documentation (shift reports, work orders, security reports) that meet standards.
• Relieves the watch and logs activities and instructions.
• Conducts radio checks and counts; maintains accurate logs.
• Patrols the building and monitors residents and surroundings.
• Supervises resident work details and facility cleanliness.
• Performs security activities (urinalysis, shakedowns, counts, breath tests).
• Documents disciplinary actions and follows procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies.
• Greets visitors and verifies identity; communicates professionally with staff and residents.
• Participates in staff meetings and team problem-solving.
