Qualifications

• One (1) year general work experience; related field preferred.
• Valid, active driver's license.
• Sufficient organizational skills to keep workflow orderly.
• Ability to express thoughts in writing and speech with correct grammar.
• Demonstrated flexibility to perform a wide range of duties.
• Ability to interact with staff and residents effectively.
• Ability to work with computers and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains continuous alertness to control and secure the facility and residents.
• Prepares shift documentation including shift reports and logs.
• Receives information from prior shift and relays instructions.
• Conducts radio checks and counts; logs observations.
• Patrols building; monitors residents and door/window security.
• Organizes resident work details to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Performs searches and tests to maintain security and compliance.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies.
