Job summary

The Breakers Palm Beach is seeking a Security Manager for One North Breakers Row to oversee the security team across three shifts, develop and deliver training, and ensure prompt handling of emergencies and resident concerns.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, security management experience, and strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to manage access control, reporting, and security systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in security management or a related field.
• Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of security regulations and proficiency with security systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all security team members across three shifts.
• Maintain a comprehensive training program for security personnel.
• Monitor security and safety systems, conduct investigations, and file reports.
• Assist with access control system management and loss prevention efforts.
• Identify and address training needs for the team and individuals.
• Develop and implement training programs, ensuring certification for all security team members.
• Coach and counsel security specialists on job performance.
• Uphold high security standards and respond to resident concerns promptly.
• Monitor vendor and contractor activities for security compliance.

Education
