Job summary

Haven in Rochester, NY is seeking a Security Manager to lead a responsive team, ensure guest safety, and maintain high standards of service. You’ll be hands-on with performance, budgeting, and continuous security improvements.

This role requires strong leadership, a valid security license, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to keep operations running smoothly for our guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Management role in leisure/hospitality.
• Valid SIA DS license.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience budgeting and financial management.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Oversee team scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Ensure operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards, including maintaining and reviewing security plans and risk assessments.
• Quickly resolve operational issues to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
• Support team development through ongoing training, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
