Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Clifton Springs Hospital is seeking a Safety & Security Officer to support shift supervision, enforce policies, and foster a culture of safety and accountability for patients, staff and visitors.

You will patrol facilities, respond to routine and emergency incidents, monitor patients as directed by medical staff, document events thoroughly, and provide leadership coverage when needed during a 24-hour rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience in Law Enforcement, Corrections, Military, or Security.
• NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Shift Support & Supervision: Assist the Supervisor in overseeing shift operations, ensuring staff performance and completion of duties.
• Security & Safety Response: Patrol and respond to incidents to protect patients, staff and visitors.
• Patient Monitoring & Support: Monitor patients as directed by medical staff and manage patient property per procedures.
• Reporting & Compliance: Complete reports and logs; enforce policies and suggest improvements.
• Leadership Coverage: Provide coverage as shift supervisor when needed and advise on performance.
