Coordinates activities within areas of responsibility, assists in overall budget development and monitoring, promotes communication and positive public relations both inter-departmentally and intra-departmentally. Monitors performance improvement and quality assurance activities to meet hospital standards and recommends areas of improvement. Ensures all security, safety, and emergency management policies and procedures are met. Participates in taking "on-call" responsibility within the Safety, Security, and Emergency Management Department as needed.
Manage day-to-day operations of Security, Safety, Parking, and Emergency Management. Develop and monitor campus-wide Security, Parking, Safety, and Emergency Management Plans. Provide strategic direction, oversee staffing, conduct investigations, liaise with healthcare and law enforcement agencies, develop policies, analyze data, serve on committees, ensure regulatory compliance, and handle emergencies effectively.
