Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin seeks a full-time Loss Prevention Officer to deter theft, patrol floors, and identify shoplifters using CCTV. You will work with local law enforcement as needed and provide courtroom testimony when required.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to sit/stand/walk for a few hours, pass background checks, and communicate clearly in English. Prior LP or law enforcement experience is a plus; reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to write legible, accurate reports.
• Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated.
• Loss prevention or law enforcement experience a plus; criminal justice studies a plus.

• Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
• Report Writing
• Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
• Provide Courtroom Testimony as required
