Thrive Proactive Health is seeking a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Richmond Heights, MO. The candidate will be responsible for identifying shoplifters, report writing, and interacting with local law enforcement as needed.

Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer

Location: Richmond Heights, MO

Job Description

• Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of closed circuit TV
• Report writing
• Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed
• Provide courtroom testimony as required

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Fulltime / 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
