Thrive Proactive Health is seeking a full-time Loss Prevention Officer in Columbia, MO. This position is vital for ensuring the safety and security of our store. Overview

Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer

Location: Columbia, MO.

Salary and benefits: Pay: $19.00 per hour • 401K • PTO - Paid Time Off • Health Insurance • Paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV
• Report writing
• Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed
• Provide courtroom testimony as required

Requirements

• Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
