Job summary

Therapeutic Alliance LLC is seeking a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer to ensure the safety and security of our location in Richmond Heights, MO. Responsibilities include identifying shoplifters, writing reports, and interacting with local law enforcement.

The ideal candidate must communicate effectively and handle confrontations assertively. We offer paid training, a competitive rate of $22.00 per hour, and comprehensive benefits including 401K and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen required.
• Reliability and punctuality are mandatory for scheduled shifts.
• Experience in loss prevention is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify shoplifters through patrol and Closed Circuit TV.
• Write reports on incidents accurately and legibly.
• Provide testimony in court when required.

Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer

Location: Richmond Heights, MO

Job Description

• Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV
• Report writing
• Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed
• Provide courtroom testimony as required

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Full time, 40 hours per week.

Job Requirements

• Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
