Job summary

Amazon in the United States (Henderson, NV) is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead end-to-end SLp services across units. You will identify vulnerabilities, conduct root cause analysis, monitor data, and manage investigations into theft, fraud and incidents.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, liaise with leadership, implement security best practices, and support 24/7 operations, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcome for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department’s liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert keeping site leadership informed on department’s key issues, strategies and the performance.
• Identify, promote and implement security best practices while effectively partnering with internal customers to evaluate current and future security needs, processes, and initiatives, incident response planning, facilitating and management.
• Domestic travel up to 50% of the time when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach; stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts; work in a loud environment; variable temperatures; stairs.
• This role covers 24/7 operations and requires working all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
