Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Security professional to protect the organization’s facilities and assets in Dallas. The role involves guarding building access, monitoring life safety systems, and coordinating security on shift to ensure tenant safety and compliance with policies.

You will log communications for shift handoffs, assist in emergencies, and liaise with the Security Manager on incidents and improvements. A high school diploma or GED is required along with security certifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and related Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meets local or national security staff certification requirements.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content concisely.

Responsibilities

• Promote courteous service to tenants, visitors and guests and respond to their requests.
• Coordinate all security on shift and ensure coverage across posts.
• Log all information for pass-ons to following shifts.
• Assist in emergencies including fires, evacuations and crises.
• Monitor and control the building's life safety system and central security panel; report issues to client representative.
• May use and monitor electronic surveillance equipment and enforce access controls.
• Maintain daily logs and shift reports; review and share performance data.
• Communicate events, incidents or concerns to Security Manager; coordinate with teams.
