Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking Licensed Security Officers for the Kansas City Data Center on a 3-shift schedule. The role includes monitoring CCTV, controlling ingress/egress, and performing rounds to identify risks.

Officers must have a KC security license, MO driver’s license, and at least one year of security experience. Shifts run Tue–Sat, 11pm–7am, with benefits including 401(k), medical/vision/dental, paid training, and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid KC Security License.
• Valid MO Driver's License.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by operations.

Must have reliable transportation

Working with data center systems, CCTV, VMS. Controlling ingress/egress and making rounds

Shift Schedules

Tues thru Sat - 11pm-7am

Prior experience working as dispatch representative and/or security command center operator is a Plus!

Must have one year "prior" security background

$20.00 p.hr
