Job summary

Marksman Security in Hammond, Louisiana is seeking security officers who can work flexible days, nights, weekends and holidays. Officers will verify credentials, patrol interior and exterior perimeters, and respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies.

The role offers on-site work with opportunities for advancement and benefits; prior warehouse or truck gate experience is a plus. On-call availability helps support our diverse client base.

Qualifications

• LA Security License is required.
• CPR-AED Certification is required.
• LA Driver's License is required.
• Basic computer skills including Track-Tik knowledge preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and safety hazards.
• Other duties to be determined by operations.

We're seeking security officers who reflect the following:

Confident in decision-making

Responsible for upholding safety standards

Foot Patrols, Checkpoints, Truck Gate

This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

$17.50 p/hr

Prior warehouse and/or truck gate experience is a plus!
