Job summary

Goodwill South Florida is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect people and property at our Miami facilities. You will supervise security staff, coordinate patrols, monitor cameras, and prepare incident reports to ensure a safe environment for customers, staff, and visitors.

Requirements include at least 2 years in security or law enforcement with supervisory experience, a valid Florida Class D Security Guard registration, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Security/Law Enforcement experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) highly desirable.
• Computer literate and able to operate security systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security officers on site and ensure duties are performed per job descriptions.
• Check security cameras and respond to incidents as requested.
• Conduct security patrols and observe for threats, safety hazards, or disturbances.
• Investigate incidents and write clear reports; assist in emergency situations.
