Clark in New York seeks a Security & IT Manager to develop and maintain our technology infrastructure and ensure end‑to‑end security across all systems and processes. This is a fully onsite role in NYC, partnering with leadership, engineering, and operations to safeguard data and drive security maturity.

You will implement frameworks, manage IT operations, lead incident response, and educate teams on policies.

The Role: Security & IT Manager

We’re seeking a Security & IT Manager to develop and maintain Clark’s technology infrastructure and ensure end-to-end security across all systems and processes. In this fully onsite position, you’ll partner with leadership, engineering, and operations to safeguard our data, manage IT operations, and drive a culture of security as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive IT and security frameworks

• Oversee network, system, and endpoint security, ensuring best practices are followed

• Monitor and assess risks, deploying appropriate safeguards and controls

• Lead incident response and manage security breach investigations

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards

• Provide IT support and hands-on troubleshooting for hardware and software issues

• Manage vendors and evaluate new technologies

• Educate and train Clark team members on security policies and IT protocols

• Report on IT and security posture to company leadership

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in IT management, security, or a related field, preferably in technology or SaaS

• Deep knowledge of security best practices, frameworks, and tools (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, cybersecurity principles)

• Strong technical skills across operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms

• Excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical matters with clarity

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized

• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment

• Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability

Bonus

• Experience in high-growth startups or enterprise technology environments

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance landscapes impacting AI and SaaS

• Possession of security/IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+)
