Job summary

OpenAI in Seattle seeks a Program Manager to own and accelerate Security and IT M&A programs, from diligence through Day 1 readiness and post-close integration. You will partner across Corporate Development, Legal, Privacy, Security, IT, and GRC to define requirements, map dependencies, and drive durable handoffs.

You will apply AI and automation to reduce repetitive work while safeguarding sensitive information.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs, esp. in security/IT or related domains.
Experience with mergers & acquisitions or integration programs.
Strong ability to influence across executive and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Own Security & IT M&A programs, including diligences, scoping, planning, and Day 1 readiness to post-close handoff.
Partner with Corporate Development, IT, Infrastructure, Legal, Privacy, Security, GRC, and other teams to define requirements and navigate tradeoffs.
Identify missed dependencies, bottlenecks, and risks; address recurring problems at their source.
Establish scalable frameworks and processes; create intake paths, playbooks, onboarding checklists, and handoff standards.
Use AI and automation to organize information, surface gaps, and route work while safeguarding sensitive information.
Create and maintain program-level visibility across deals, risks, milestones, and dependencies.
Communicate status, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to technical and executive audiences.
Own additional programs spanning Security and IT as priorities evolve.
