Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Program Manager to build and own cross-functional programs spanning Security, IT, and GRC, with a core focus on Mergers & Acquisitions. You’ll drive diligence, Day 1 readiness, onboarding, and post-close integration across multiple teams, applying AI/automation to scale processes and manage risk.

You’ll partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Privacy, Security, and Infrastructure to align ownership, clarify responsibilities, and accelerate durable handoffs.

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs, with a proven record of successful partnership in security, IT, infrastructure, privacy, trust, product risk, or other technical domains.
• Have carried programs from an ambiguous starting point through execution and lasting ownership.
• Have built a new program, workflow, or operating model yourself and can show adoption and improved results.

Responsibilities

• Own Security & IT M&A programs, including supporting System Operations and other engineering teams in defining and performing timely diligence assessments, and scoping, planning, and executing acquisition integrations.
• Carry the work through Day 1 readiness, onboarding of people and systems, post-close priorities, and handoff to ongoing owners.
• Partner with Corporate Development, IT, Infrastructure, Application, Legal, Privacy, Security, GRC, Corporate Security and other teams to understand cross-functional requirements and navigate tradeoffs.
• Establish scalable frameworks and processes to support core programs, including durable goals, core measures of success, intake paths, playbooks, onboarding checklists, decision points, and handoff standards.
• Use AI and automation to organize information, surface gaps, improve documentation, route work, and track follow-through with appropriate handling of sensitive information.
