Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Program Manager to own security and IT M&A programs from diligence to Day 1 readiness, onboarding, and ongoing ownership. You will partner with Corporate Development, IT, Infrastructure, Legal, Privacy, Security, and GRC to define requirements and clear decision rights, applying principled judgment to drive programs with speed and care.

You will learn partner workflows, identify bottlenecks, and build scalable frameworks and intake paths.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs.
Experience in security, IT, privacy, or related technical domains is a plus.
Ability to define durable programs and ownership across teams.

Responsibilities

Own Security & IT M&A programs from diligence through Day 1 readiness and onboarding.
Collaborate with Corporate Development, IT, Legal, Privacy, Security, and other teams.
Identify dependencies, bottlenecks, and risks; optimize handoffs and ownership.
Create scalable frameworks, playbooks, and onboarding checklists.
Use AI and automation to organize information and reduce manual work.
Provide program-level visibility across deals, milestones, and risks.
Communicate status and tradeoffs clearly to technical and exec audiences.
Expand programs to span Security and IT as priorities evolve.
