Job Summary

Security Investigators are responsible for conducting thorough inquiries into criminal activity, policy violations, suspicious activity, workplace misconduct, and incidents affecting company assets.


How You Will Create the Extraordinary


  • Conduct internal investigations and gather intelligence related to potential unlawful activity or violations of Caesars Entertainment policies, as directed by the Investigations Manager or SIU Director.

  • Collaborate with security officers at other Caesars properties and coordinate with relevant departments throughout investigative processes.

  • Perform surveillance activities as required and conduct both formal and informal interviews to obtain conclusive, fact‑based statements.

  • Prepare investigative reports, documentation, and evidence for potential legal or administrative proceedings, and coordinate with internal departments and external law‑enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.

  • Remain available for 24/7 on‑call response and report to the property when directed by management.

  • Provide factual testimony at internal administrative hearings, unemployment hearings, and legal proceedings.

  • Conduct and participate in internal integrity checks as needed.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all investigative activities, intelligence, and sensitive information.

  • Work extended or irregular hours as required by ongoing investigations.

  • Track, analyze, and maintain incident data to identify trends, proactively address risks, and share intelligence with Caesars Entertainment investigative personnel.

  • Maintain high work standards, meet deadlines, ensure accuracy, and verify the quality and completeness of work.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat (115°F+) or cold (10°F).

  • Physically restrain individuals when necessary, under conditions of arrest.

  • Respond calmly and make rational decisions in crisis or stressful situations involving guests or employees.

  • Perform duties independently without direct supervision.

  • Engage in physical activities including bending, stooping, jumping, twisting, crouching, gripping, and moving quickly across flat surfaces and stairways.

  • Lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push or pull up to 150 lbs.

  • Observe, recall, and articulate detailed information about incidents and individuals; write detailed, accurate reports; provide testimony when required; and read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Work in environments with secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lighting, or dust.

  • Successfully complete all Western Division Security Academy requirements—including Controlled Force, Defensive Tactics, Legal Issues, Handcuffing, Tactical Communications, Use of Force, Report Writing, Subject Searches, Emergency Response, Ethics, and Expandable Baton—within the first 90 days of employment.

  • Re‑certify through the Las Vegas Region Security Academy between years 2 and 3 and meet all associated physical, mental, and environmental standards.
