Job summary

UPS in Los Angeles is seeking a Security Investigator to monitor and audit security policies, assist investigations, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role inspects assets and reviews incident reports to identify issues and ensure proper responses.

You will analyze data, develop procedures for external customers, determine training needs, and conduct performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred
• Availability to work flexible shift hours
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Audits quality and integrity policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Monitors employee disciplinary data.
• Analyzes investigation results and the root cause of losses to determine preventive measures.
• Analyzes research and surveillance data, interviews investigation subjects to obtain written incident statements, and prepares accurate and thorough case files.
• Develops customized security procedures for external customers.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.
