Job summary

Mayvin, Inc. seeks a Personnel Security Assistant to support the Office of Security Programs for the U.S. Marshals Service.

The role involves working with government agencies, contractors, and federal employees to support background investigations and reinvestigations. Success requires a U.S. citizen, ability to pass a BI and T4 high-risk public trust clearance, and experience with NBIS eApp, CVS, NCIC/NLETS, and credit checks.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma.
• Minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience as a personnel security assistant.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with initiation and review of NBIS eApp (electronic application).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting NCIC/NLETS inquiries and performing credit checks.

Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate level of initial investigation and reinvestigation based on position designation.
• Conduct preliminary CVS checks to verify designation requirements for reciprocal investigations.
• Invite candidates into NBIS eApp and assist with access issues.
• Fingerprint applicants and employees; conduct NCIC/NLETS inquiries and perform credit checks.
