Job summary

Homeland Safety Systems, Inc. seeks an Installation Technician to install and service electronic security systems across multiple sites. You will run wiring, connect panels, and install security software while following project documents and safety standards.

Ideal candidates combine strong electronics knowledge with excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Frequent travel and a flexible schedule are required to meet project demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel up to 75% and work nights/weekends as required.
• Clean background and valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Must pass state and federal background checks and drug screens.
• Ability to obtain state licensing and Level 1 certification for full-time work.
• Working knowledge of electronics, reading schematics, and security systems.
• Strong time management, organization, and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Install and service electronic security systems according to approved documents.
• Run electrical wiring, drill, trench, and connect control panels.
• Install security software and ensure proper documentation of work.
• Inspect sites, materials, and procedures to meet requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on site.
• Train customers on software usage and system features.
• Maintain professional rapport with customers and coordinate with staff.
