Job summary

Integrated Protection Services Inc. is seeking a Security Technician to install project-specific devices to fire alarm, building, and electrical codes. You will mentor and train entry-level technicians on site while coordinating with the project manager and other trades.

You must have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of field experience, OSHA-10, First Aid/CPR, and a clean driving record. The role requires physical fitness, tool proficiency, and a commitment to safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of entry level technician or related industry experience.
• OSHA-10 hour certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
• Customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Willingness to travel and work after hours as needed.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with codes.

Responsibilities

• Install project devices per building, fire and electrical codes.
• Mentor and train entry level technicians on jobsites.
• Coordinate with project manager and other trades.
• Inspect installations and ensure quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot system issues and diagnose failures.
• Maintain tools, vehicle, and equipment.
• Complete service tickets and logs using company software.
• Attend manufacturer and company training programs.
• Adhere to safety policies and conduct random drug testing.
