Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within Corporate Technology to design, deploy, and support payment infrastructure deployments. You will work with HPE NonStop hardware and security subsystems, ensuring high availability and security for enterprise operations in a global financial services environment.

The role emphasizes hands‑on expertise in infrastructure engineering, cloud knowledge, and AI‑assisted operations, with a focus on resiliency and auditability across platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience with NonStop Security Products (Safeguard, XYPRO NonStop Security Suite).
• Deep knowledge of one infrastructure tech and scripting languages (e.g., TACL Scripting, Python).
• Drives to continue to develop technical and cross‑functional knowledge outside the product.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies across public and private clouds.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows with strong validation habits.
• Ability to review and validate AI‑assisted recommendations before implementation, ensuring resiliency and auditability.
• Experience applying AIOps/ML‑driven monitoring concepts in production infra.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a member of the HPE NonStop Security Engineering Team.
• Applies technical expertise and problem‑solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope.
• Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies.
• Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes for modernization.
• Executes creative solutions for design, development, and troubleshooting of moderate complexity.
• Considers data and system implications and advises on mitigation actions.
• Uses enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and documentation.
• Applies reuse‑first, AI‑assisted practices in delivery and automation to identify recurring issues and verify remediation.
• Leverages AIOps techniques to improve incident triage and detect infrastructure risks.
